Illinois Marathon Set for Spring 2009!

Champaign-Urbana, IL—CasMar Events, Inc. and a local organizing committee have announced plans for the inaugural Illinois Marathon to be held in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, on April 24-25, 2009.

SUBWAY® restaurants announces renewed sponsorship of the Scheels Fargo Marathon, national spokesman to be part of festivities

FARGO (February 18, 2008) – Fargo Marathon, Inc. announced today that SUBWAY® restaurants is an Official Sponsor of the 2008 Scheels Fargo Marathon.  SUBWAY® restaurants has approximately 52 stores in eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota.  The 4th Running of the Scheels Fargo Marathon takes place on May 17, 2008.  There are currently over 2,700 participants registered for five different running events held in conjunction with the Fargo Marathon.  The total number of registrants in 2007 was just over 9,000.

Fargo Marathon Announces Ygomi as Sponsor

FARGO (March 1, 2008) – Fargo Marathon, Inc. announced today that Ygomi LLC is an official sponsor of the 2008 Scheels Fargo Marathon.  Ygomi currently operates five information and communications technology companies, including Fargo’s SEI LLC and Verety LLC, with several locations in North Dakota.  As part of the company’s sponsorship, Ygomi will provide financial support for the implementation of the Ygomi Speaker Series at the FARGODOME on Friday, May 16, 2008.  This year’s guest speakers include Dave McGillivray and Sarah Reinertsten.  McGillivray is an accomplished runner and director of the Boston Marathon, considered the most prestigious marathon in the world.  Reinertsen is the first women amputee to complete the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.  Ygomi will also provide volunteers along the course on race day.
